"What vision of heartbreaking misery, what manner of dire poverty, what degradation of the human spirit must we all see before we stand up and actually commit to doing something about it?" (Suvanjieff & Engle, 2008)
Like if it were destiny, on December 31st I was at a bookstore checking out stuff. My surprise was big when I saw the book: "PEACEJAM: A Billion Simple Acts of Peace". I didn't have to read much to realize I had to buy it. Then I checked the website http://www.peacejam.org/ and was atonished at what this organization has accomplished.
One of my New Year Resolutions is to make a better world, and even though there are millions of ways to achieve this, sometimes we don't know what to do. Have you ever felt this way? Well, here's something that can encourage us incredibly to join or create different projects around the world.
